Veev is a real estate development company based in San Mateo, California. In addition to their signature prefab ADU, Veev builds commercial properties, multi-family homes, and select single-family homes. Veev’s ADU is 568 square feet with a fixed floor plan. In terms of style, their signature ADU features a modern style, with tall windows, vaulted ceilings, sturdy steel structuring, living wall gardens, and patio space. Veev uses a High Performance Surface (HPS) material for the exterior, interior walls, doors, and countertops. In addition to giving their ADU a sleek modern look, this HPS material is hygienic, stain resistant, weather resistant, UV resistant, non-odorous, and never fades or degrades. Veev is an environmentally friendly company. Their ADU comes with 12 solar panels, a vertical garden, and LED lighting. Veev’s ADU is also smart home integrated with touch panels in every room replacing traditional switches and has an iOS app for mobile operations. The built-in home automation controls elements like lighting, shades, fans, HVAC and door locks. With this smart home technology individuals have the ability to make custom modes for greater comfort and energy-efficiency.
Veev uses an advanced helical foundation method, making their ADU seismic resistant. The helical piles are also recyclable so the build process stays environmentally friendly. After factory construction, the ADU’s panels and components are shipped and assembled at the final build-site. The unit is then hooked up to utilities and Veev Digital home through their plug & play system. Next, the ADU is landscaped with a 6 ft perimeter and fully furnished. Then, the Veev ADU is fitted with a media package, refrigerator, dual burner induction cooktop, dual convection oven & microwave, hood exhaust, dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer & dryer - all of which are included in the cost of their ADU. It is worth noting that Veev offers end-to-end services, handling the design, manufacturing, permitting, setting, and installation of their homes. The only thing the buyer has to do is move in. At the moment, Veev only services the California Bay Area, specifically Peninsula, South Bay & East Bay, but has plans to expand.
