Cedar Knolls Review
Cedar Knolls is a modular home designer and builder based in Long Island. They offer over 42 models, with floor plans ranging from 768 square feet to 3,648 square feet. All models are fully customizable, including the floor plan, architectural design, finishes, and more. Cedar Knolls builds homes in a variety of styles including ranch, cape, colonial, coastal, and even modern designs. Their homes are built to meet LEED certification standards, with some of their models including green features like high efficiency heating, recycled countertops, and full energy star-certified appliances.
Cedar Knolls offers full turnkey building services. They handle all design work, permitting, and site work themselves, including demolition. Cedar Knolls works with Westchester Modular Homes to manufacture the home modules before they are shipped to the build site. Once set on a foundation, their homes can be finished in just 12 weeks. Once permits are issued, homes can be move-in ready in about 6 months. Cedar Knolls currently only serves New York’s Nassau County and Suffolk County, which includes the Hamptons and North Fork Wine Country.
