Our turn-key cost estimates for a modular sauna pod from New Primitive range from $21,500 - $53,500. These cost estimates are all-inclusive, meaning that they account for the cost of the sauna module plus shipping and light site work. Additionally, New Primitive has a standalone cold plunge pool with a list price of $16,500.

It is worth noting that this cost estimate does not include any modifications or optional upgrades. Additionally, for one-off custom projects, the final cost may fall outside of this range.

Determining Modular Sauna & Cold Plunge Suite Costs & Project Line Items

To calculate the turn-key cost of a modular sauna project with New Primitive, we combined the two main project costs, the sauna module & the soft costs of delivery, site preparation, and installation. New primitive is transparent about the base costs for their saunas, though the soft costs are often project dependent. In general, in our interview with New Primitive Founder, Cole Painter, he says that these soft costs are generally around $4,000 - $5,000. These costs are relatively low as the saunas only need to be placed on a solid, flat surface & require limited utility connections. Saunas require a 220 volt electric connection & cold plunge pools only need a standard hose connection. Depending on your site, a crane or telescoping forklift may be needed to lift the sauna into place.
