Taynr Review
At the time of our last update (April 2024) Taynr no longer operates as a shipping container home builder.
Taynr is a prefab and modular home designer and manufacturer based in Sacramento, California. Taynr utilizes recycled shipping containers and steel framing to create modern prefab homes and ADUs. Aesthetically, Taynr’s home offerings feature clean lines with large windows and unique facades. Unlike some container home manufacturers, Taynr modifies the exteriors of the homes in many of their models, giving them a slightly different appearance than their shipping container framing.
It is worth noting that Taynr does not act as a local general contractor on their projects. As such, buyers need to hire an outside contractor to conduct necessary site work, lay a foundation, and install the home. It is also worth mentioning that as a recent entry to the prefab and container home industry, Taynr has a somewhat limited operating history.
