Why are you offering this service?

Our goal is to try to make the process of buying a prefab or modular home easier and this is one way to do it. Our tools and expertise will help potential buyers save time and money and make better decisions.

How much does your service cost?

The initial consultation with our staff member is free. During this consultation, we will learn your requirements in terms of what you want to build, your aesthetic preferences, your budget, any return on investment requirements, and any other features you care about.

Once we determine that we’ll be able to deliver you a short list of reasonable options, we give you the option to pay for our support. Current prices are $1,000 for an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) project and $3,000 for a single family home, multifamily, or investment project.

What are the deliverables if I choose to use the service post the consultation?

1. A short list of manufacturers and plans that our staff considers good options to complete your project

2. Estimated budgets of the different options for your project along with ROI and financial metrics.

3. List of next steps to best execute your project along with estimated timeline.

4. Introductions to vetted service providers (when requested and applicable) such as realtors, builders, etc.

5. Unlimited one-to-one email and phone support with your questions during the course of your project.

Why is Prefab Concierge worth it?

• Prefab Concierge it completely free until we deem there to be feasible options for your project. So you can save a large amount of time relying on experts like us to tell you if your project is feasible at no cost, versus trying to figure that out yourself.

• The fee to use Prefab Concierge (after we deem that your project is feasible), is much less than 1% of the cost of almost any project that you would undertake. So you’re likely to save many times our fee and have your project go faster, by simply avoiding mistakes, choosing the right providers, and having us as a sanity check throughout the process.

• Being able to tap into our expertise and resources also will save you an uncountable number of hours over doing your own research. So if you value your own time, we think the service is a really good deal as well.

• Because we help so many clients, there are greater stakes for any service provider (architect, manufacturer, builder, etc.) to deliver you a terrific experience if you’re referred by us. You won’t do another 100 projects this year, but our clients will do more than that.

Are you a real estate, mortgage broker, or financial advisor?

Thanks for asking. Our lawyer is very happy for us to clarify that we are not a real estate or mortgage broker or financial advisor. We do our best to provide educational content to help buyers make informed decisions, but nothing you receive from us should be considered “advice” from a registered financial advisor or mortgage or real estate broker. We may provide access to real estate brokers, lenders, or mortgage brokers who are qualified to provide advice and assist you with your transactions, but your relationship for each of those transactions is directly with those parties.

Do I have any obligation or cost for filling out the form and speaking with someone from the Prefab Concierge team?

Nope. We do not charge any money for an initial consultation with our staff.

Once we deem that there are feasible options that we think would likely satisfy your requirements, we will ask you to pay a fee for our services if you’d like continued support. But there is no obligation at that point and the decision will be fully yours.
