Alchemy Architects Review
Alchemy Architects is a Minnesota-based home builder that design, builds, and delivers prefab and modular homes to buyers anywhere in the US. Its main focus is the weeHouse, which features a rectangular design that allows for a variety of customizable options, including stacked or side-by-side layouts. Alchemy Architects will review your site, design the home, construct the unit, and deliver it to your desired site. However, homeowners must hire a general contractor to complete the foundation, installation, final site-work, and utilities.
Three separate styles are available for purchase, each with a specific functionality according to your tastes and budget. The lighthouse works as a luxury ADU, the barnHouse makes for a trendy ranch style space, and the weeHouse is completely customizable from the ground up. Homes range from 300 sq ft to 2400 sq ft.
Strengths:
Customization - The WeeHouses can be stacked together to make homes of any size or configuration using the rectangular modules, and they can be flexible to difficult sites such as steep slopes
Energy Efficient - Designs utilize sunlight reflective rubber roofing and vented roof spaces to maintain a more stable internal temperature.
Reasons they may not be for you:
You don’t want to be limited to the boxy layouts and structures.
You don’t want the burden of hiring a general contractor in addition to Alchemy
